Dennis Rodman, a former Chicago Bulls star, plans to visit the US-North Korea summit in Singapore next week. According to Chris Volo, Rodman’s agent, the aim is to provide “moral support” to President Trump and Kim Jong Un.
The Canada-based cryptocurrency PotCoin is apparently in discussion regarding possible sponsoring of the trip. PotCoin already sponsored Rodman’s previous trip to North Korea in 2017. Rodman wore a t-shirt with PotCoin’s logo, which resulted in the coin price spiking.
Apparently the details are still being discussed, but the PotCoin’s spokesman already expressed that Rodman “deserves the Nobel Peace Prize jointly with President Trump and the Marshal Kim Jong Un,”.
“The PotCoin team as a community has been incredibly supportive of Rodman’s peace mission from the beginning. We’re thrilled to see how the political climate has improved between North Koreans and the US since he became involved.” – he added.
Not the first time
Denis Rodman first travelled to North Korea in 2013 with members of the Harlem Globetrotters. This will be the fourth time he visited the country. The previous visits resulted in establishing relations with Kim, but it still unclear if the leader want’s Rodman to participate in the next week’s summit.
